My New Favorite Pair of Jeans

HEY! You have a wedgie….

I'll get to the wedgie later, but let's talk about denim styles for a minute. They have really taken a turn in the last few years, wouldn't you say? There was the skinny, which reallly became iconic. Suddenly everyone wanted the cutest knee high and over the knee boots they could find to tuck their skinnies into. The skinny suddenly had a little competition, when the mom jean made her way back to the scene after laying dormant, to the now baggy, really baggy 90s jean. There has also been the resurrection of the 70's flare, which, according to me, the bigger the flare, the bigger the flair...see how witty I am? I even have my grammar nailed in tightly.

The skinny has taken a backseat, but I think there is always a place for a good skinny; Kind of a classic at this point, in my opinion. I'll never be done with mine and if you love yours, you should never be done with them, so there's that; I

think a skinny styled with a minimalist stiletto heel and a structured jacket is a killer look and I stand by that.

Okay, so back to the wedgie, which is the best part, really. I was out running errands and randomly ended up in a dressing room, totally by accident, I swear! As I walked by the Levi's denim section, minding my own business, something stuck out her stiletto and tripped me. Her name is the Wedgie Straight Leg. Yeah, that’s right, wedgie, like a la Farrah Faucet circa 1980.

It doesn’t feel like you have a wedgie, just looks like it, but in a comfortable way. Is there even such a thing as a comfortable wedgie? This pair offered minimal stretch, but just enough to hug the curves, (my curves have always been there, I LOVE THEM and it took me a long time to be able to say that) high rise, fitted through the hip and thigh, straight leg wedgie perfection and ohhhhhh they make the booty look like an inverted heart shape. I signed up! Will you be my Valentine, Wedgie Straight Leg?
